I also find that Thom Yorke's _The Eraser_ provides a lovely accompaniment to bleak days. This music is clearly steeped in the British climate; you can hear the clouds.
OK Computer is my favorite album of all time. I listen to it only in its entirety, and never pull tracks of it for other playlists. It's epic. And I save listening to it for special moments/ experiences. The mood/ setting has to be just right.
I like The Eraser too; it has grown and grown on me the last year or so. "Analyse" is my favorite.
